Nitrox

NITROX Diving Course

Conditions
  • hold a valid F.F.E.S.S.M. license
  • be at least 14 years old on the date of issue.
  • hold a level 1 degree in the F.F.E.S.S.M or an equivalently-accepted patent.
  • present the logbook
  • have made a minimum of 10 dives in the 20-meters zone as shown on the dive log, or on the passport or by duly completed voucher.
  • Submit a medical certificate allowing practicing underwater diving of less than one year issued by a federal doctor, a specialized doctor as defined in Schedule 1 of the Federal Medical Regulations or a sports doctor (CES , Capacity or DU).
Content
  • 1 theoretical course and 2 dives.

CONFIRMED NITROX Diving Course

Conditions
  • hold a valid F.F.E.S.S.M. license.
  • be at least 16 years old on the date of issue.
  • hold a level 2 degree in the F.F.E.S.S.M or an equivalently-accepted patent.
  • hold the qualification of FFESSM NITROX DIVER or of a qualification admitted in equivalence (qualification issued by one of the organizations recognized in the Code of Sport "Mélanges")
  • present the logbook
  • have made a minimum of 10 dives in the area of 30 to 40 meters attested on the dive log or by mention on the passport or by duly completed card.
  • have completed a minimum of 6 nitrox dives, including 4 at least during training, attested by a FFESSM nitrox monitor.
  • Submit a medical certificate allowing practicising underwater diving of less than one year issued by a federal doctor, a specialized doctor as defined in Schedule 1 of the Federal Medical Regulations or a sports doctor (CES , Capacity or DU).
Content
  • 1 theoretical course and 4 dives (2 dives in the 25 / 30m zone and 2 dives in the 40 / 50m zone). The 4 dives are decompressed using a 50% oxygen mixture.

Technical diving (also known as tek diving) is a form of scuba diving that is practiced more deeply than recreational diving (although the majority of technical divers dive primarily for recreational purposes).

It requires special training, extensive diving experience, specific equipment and sometimes gas mixtures different from air or nitrox.

  • 1 theoretical course and 4 dives between 20 and 30 m.
